Construction Set out
You will need a registered surveyor to ensure your building project is located correctly upon your land and satisfies councils approved wall - boundary offsets and BCA requirements.
We can carry out the following for you:
Define your land boundaries
Set out the location of your proposed building with offset marks to assist you or your builder
Establish bench marks, to assist your builder in setting up your floor levels. (particularly in flood areas or where you have a maximum height limit to adhere to)
Mark the corners of your proposed building with nails in the constructed footings to assist your bricklayer. This will ensure that your building is built to the approved dimensions and is constructed squarely. (Poor set out at the commencement of works creates a snow balling affect during construction from causing problems with pre fabricated components right through to the wall and floor tiling at completion).
Mark grid lines or column locations on bigger projects such as commercial developments.
The use of Trimble robotic survey equipment enables us to pre calculate the location of required set out points in the office, directly from architectural plans.
Once in the field the required points can be set out rapidly or even modified on site without fuss to suit your particular site requirements.
